Social Telepresence (STP) is the integration of social media with physical computing in order to collapse the relevance of physical space within one-to-many communications.

STP explores the potential of creating embodied experience through the integration of digital communications and physical computing. Applications for STP range from empowering people with physical challenges to communicate gestures over a network, to wearable and networked clothing, to empowering a multiplicity of embodied network communications.
