"Seed" is a sculptural work that reacts to objects within its environment. It uses ultra-sonic distance sensing technology to determine whether it should open up, take images of its surroundings or close and protect itself. It has the ability to take video images from within it's shell - looking outward. The images are then projected from above and transposed upon the immediate surrounding area - enabling viewers to see what it sees.
