This animation was created in 1994, during a time when animated gifs were something "new". The software was very limited, only supporting linear transitions and keyframe animation. It was called, "Future Splash" and was the pre-cursor to what we know as "Flash" today.
The animation requires installation of the Adobe Shockwave Player in order to be viewed.
